The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a recruitment division, specialising in recruiting within the built environment and building services sectors. This includes client development, team leadership, and delivery performance. In order to succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication, leadership, and commercial skills, with a strong track record in sales and the ability to drive growth and build long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Support the Divisional Director in executing the division’s strategy and achieving growth targets
- Oversee recruitment delivery within the built environment sector to ensure quality, consistency, and client satisfaction
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while developing new business opportunities across the built environment market
- Monitor team performance, KPIs, and daily activity to drive productivity and results
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to a small team of consultants
- Act as a key point of contact for client escalations and internal queries
- Contribute to revenue growth, forecasting, and overall divisional profitability
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in recruitment, ideally within the built environment or technical sectors
- Proven track record in sales and business development, with consistent achievement of revenue targets
- Strong experience in client development and managing delivery within a recruitment setting
- Strong business skills including team development, performance management, and commercial awareness
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, prioritise effectively, and work independently
