They are now looking to appoint an ambitious and motivated

Trainee Property Manager to join their expanding team.

You will receive hands-on training and exposure to all aspects of property operations, resident engagement, compliance, lettings, and portfolio management, working alongside experienced property professionals.

The Role

As a Trainee Property Manager, you will support the day-to-day management of a residential property portfolio while developing the skills and knowledge required to progress into a Property Manager position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the day-to-day management of residential properties across London.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with contractors to ensure works are completed efficiently.
  • Carry out routine property inspections and prepare detailed reports.
  • Support resident move-ins and move-outs, including inventories and key handovers.
  • Assist with arranging property viewings and marketing available units.
  • Prepare tenancy documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Monitor property compliance requirements, including Gas Safety Certificates, EICRs, EPCs, fire safety regulations and licensing obligations.
  • Liaise professionally with landlords, contractors and suppliers.
  • Update and maintain records using property management software systems.
  • Support rent collection processes and assist with basic arrears management.
  • Ensure high standards of property presentation and resident satisfaction are maintained.
  • Candidate Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a genuine willingness to learn.
  • Professional and confident approach.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential.
  • Degree or qualification in Property, Real Estate, Business or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience within customer service, hospitality, lettings, administration, or property.
  • Knowledge of the London residential rental market.
  • Understanding of UK residential property legislation and compliance requirements.
