We’re working on a fantastic opportunity for an Operational Facilities Coordinator to join a busy London-based civic building. This is a great role for someone who enjoys being hands-on, visible on site, and at the centre of day-to-day operations.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in keeping the building running smoothly, coordinating contractors, managing maintenance requests, and supporting day-to-day FM operations. No two days are the same — you’ll be working across facilities, compliance, and stakeholder support in a varied and dynamic setting.
What you’ll be doing
- Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance across the building
- Acting as the go-to contact for contractors on site
- Managing jobs through the CAFM/helpdesk system
- Supporting health & safety and compliance processes
- Ensuring works are completed on time and to standard
- Working closely with internal teams to support day-to-day operations
- Getting involved in room setups, events, and building activities
What we’re looking for
- Experience in facilities, estates, or building operations
- Comfortable managing contractors and juggling multiple tasks
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Someone proactive, hands-on, and happy to be on site
- Experience with CAFM systems is a plus
