Overview
In this role you will design and develop piping systems to meet project requirements and standards, delivering accurate layouts, isometrics, and specifications. You will collaborate with mechanical, structural, HVAC and other teams to ensure constructability, maintainability, and compliance while supporting calculations and design changes. You’ll participate in design reviews and multidisciplinary meetings to resolve issues and uphold quality, safety, and schedule targets. This role offers impact through shaping piping solutions in complex, regulated environments and advancing project milestones.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop piping systems aligned with project specs and standards
- Create and review piping layouts, specifications, and isometrics
- Support piping calculations, sizing, and system assessments
- Coordinate interfaces with mechanical, structural, HVAC and other disciplines
- Evaluate designs for constructability, maintainability, and compliance
- Address engineering queries, design changes, and issue resolution
- Participate in design reviews and multidisciplinary coordination meetings
- Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality, safety, and schedule requirements
Key requirements
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering or related discipline
- Experience in piping design or engineering in nuclear, energy, infrastructure or similar complex environments
- Strong understanding of piping systems, layouts, specifications and standards
- Experience with relevant design and engineering tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Good communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration abilities
- Experience in highly regulated or safety-critical environments is advantageous
