About the Role
42 Bruton is hiring an experienced and strategic Account Director to join our growing West London team. This is a senior leadership opportunity with a clear path toAssociate Director level within a year , offering a pivotal role in shaping the agency’s next stage of growth.
We’re looking for someone who can lead client relationships across high-growth B2B and consumer brands, manage and inspire the wider team, and bring sharp editorial instincts to everything from press strategy to campaign storytelling. You’ll act as a strategic partner to founders and marketing leads while contributing visibly to new business and agency direction. The agency is immersed in a truly transformative phase of growth, investing into significant tech advancements to ensure day to day operations are strategic and streamlined as opposed to formulaic and process ladened.

Now in our eighth year, we operate from our creative HQ in Soho Works, West London, with regular cross-Atlantic scopes of work dependent on US client requirements.
What You\’ll Be Doing
- Acting as senior point of contact for clients, delivering strategic counsel and protecting account value
- Leading multi-channel PR strategies with measurable outcomes across B2B and B2C sectors
- Signing off high-level editorial content and campaign copy across accounts
- Mentoring and managing a growing team of Senior Account Managers, Account Managers and Executives
- Leading media strategy, journalist targeting, and high-quality pitching across national and trade media
- Driving internal delivery standards, client reporting, and campaign impact
- Contributing to new business strategy, proposals, and agency profile-building
What We\’re Looking For
- 5+ years in PR with experience across both B2B and consumer accounts
- A proven leader of people, process and performance
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to shape narratives and elevate team output
- A strategic mindset and proactive approach to client management
- AI adoptive however experience is not crucial
- Strong national media contacts and a flair for coverage generation
- Confidence in new business settings and commercial conversations
- Ambition to grow into an Associate Director role and help shape agency leadership
