Group42 is a high-growth boutique PR agency based in London. We specialise in leading PR strategies for ambitious scale-ups and challenger brands across the UK and the US. Our reputation is built on clean-cut execution, relentless media coverage, sharp industry positioning, and storytelling that drives investor and audience engagement alike. The Agency is now in its eighth year and is based out of our beautiful private office amidst the creative backdrop of SohoWorks, West London.

Group42 is looking for a Senior Digital PR Executive to join our growing Creative and Digital Marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who lives at the intersection of earned media, search performance, and data-led storytelling. You’ll work across a sector-agnostic mix of consumer lifestyle, B2B, fintech, and healthcare clients, delivering campaigns designed to build authority, visibility, and measurable organic growth.

Reporting to our Head of Creative and Account Director, you’ll take ownership of campaigns from ideation through to SEO-rich coverage, working closely with SEO, content, and creative teams to ensure every piece of DPR activity drives real search value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute digital PR campaigns designed to earn high-quality, relevant backlinks and brand coverage.
  • Develop creative campaign angles rooted in search insight, data, cultural trends, and media demand.
  • Lead campaign delivery end-to-end: ideation, research, asset creation, outreach, coverage tracking, and reporting.
  • Work closely with SEO specialists to align PR activity with keyword strategies, link acquisition goals, and organic growth objectives.
  • Evaluate link quality, domain authority, relevance, and anchor strategy to ensure SEO best practice.
  • Translate coverage into clear performance outcomes, including ranking improvements, traffic growth, and authority gains.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with national, regional, trade, and vertical-specific journalists.
  • Pitch confidently to tier-1 publications, tailoring angles to editorial needs and publication audiences.
  • Secure consistent coverage across online media, balancing scale with authority and relevance.
  • Use data sources (ONS, surveys, proprietary datasets, FOIs, trends analysis) to create newsworthy, insight-led stories.
  • Collaborate with designers and content teams to produce supporting assets such as reports, visuals, and interactive content.
  • Spot reactive and proactive PR opportunities tied to news cycles, seasonal trends, and client narratives.
  • Track and report on coverage performance, links secured, authority metrics, and SEO impact.
  • Provide clear, commercially focused reporting that demonstrates value beyond coverage volume.
  • Continuously refine campaign strategy based on performance, media feedback, and search outcomes.
What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone with strong, hands-on digital PR experience who understands how DPR directly contributes to organic growth. You’ll likely have:

  • Proven experience delivering SEO-focused digital PR campaigns within an agency or in-house environment.
  • A strong understanding of search fundamentals, including backlinks, domain authority, relevance, and organic visibility.
  • Demonstrable success securing coverage on high-authority UK publications (national, consumer, or trade).
  • Confidence using data to inform stories and justify campaign angles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to pitch clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong organisation and project management skills, managing multiple clients and deadlines with ease.
  • A proactive, curious mindset - always looking for smarter angles and stronger outcomes.
Development & Progression:

As a Senior Digital PR Executive at Group42, you’ll play a key role in shaping our digital PR output. You’ll develop deeper expertise in search-led PR strategy, campaign innovation, and performance measurement, with clear progression as the role grows. This role offers the opportunity to grow within a dynamic and ambitious agency environment. If you’re excited to gain hands-on PR experience, build media relationships, and contribute to high-impact campaigns while working with a supportive, tight-knit team, we’d love to hear from you.
