At Lowell, we're transforming the way Finance supports the business, and we're looking for Finance Managers to join us on that journey. If you're a qualified accountant who enjoys taking ownership, building strong relationships and finding better ways of doing things, we'd love to hear from you. You’ll play an important role in delivering accurate, insightful financial information that helps drive decision-making across the Group.

We're looking for people who are confident in their expertise, take pride in delivering high-quality work and are willing to challenge the way things have always been done when there's a smarter approach. As a Finance Manager, you'll take ownership of key accounting and financial control activities, including month-end and year-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and the integrity of financial information within your area. You'll work closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider business, providing insight, support and challenge where needed. You'll also have the opportunity to share your knowledge and experience, helping to develop and support colleagues earlier in their careers.

This role is about more than producing accurate numbers. As we continue to automate and modernise our processes, we're looking for people who can think critically, use their judgement and focus on what really adds value. You'll be encouraged to identify opportunities for improvement, challenge inefficiencies and contribute to building a more streamlined, insight-led Finance function that supports the future of Lowell.

What we'd like to see:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in a financial control, management accounting or financial reporting environment.
  • Strong understanding of month-end, year-end and balance sheet accounting processes.
  • A track record of building trusted relationships and working effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting, coaching or developing less experienced colleagues.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with the confidence to challenge existing processes and drive positive change.

If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every requirement – don’t worry, still apply. Your unique perspective could be just what we’re looking for.

What you’ll get:

  • A discretionary annual bonus to reward your impact.
  • 3% flexible benefits that you can tailor to suit your lifestyle, whether that’s extra cash, more holiday, or added health cover.
  • Hybrid working for the best of both worlds—collaboration and focus.
  • Free onsite parking, saving you time and money.
  • Recharge and refresh opportunities with 28 days of holiday plus public holidays, and the option to buy up to five more—giving you more time for what matters most.
  • Peace of mind with life assurance that supports your loved ones, no matter what.
  • A culture that celebrates you and supports your wellbeing – with recognition awards, access to on-site gym facilities, and a variety of wellbeing initiatives offered throughout the year to help you stay balanced, resilient and feeling your best.

We’re on a mission to make credit work better for all. We celebrate and share success, learn from failure, embrace change, and savour challenge. Ready to join us? Apply today and help shape the future of Finance at Lowell. If you need help with your application or have any questions about the adjustments we can make to support you during the recruitment process, please contact a member of the Lowell Talent Team, who’ll be more than happy to support you.
