The role of an Electrical Project Manager at Group Metropolitan Ltd holds significant importance as it comes with a well-defined set of duties aimed at ensuring the delivery of projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard of quality. The role will require close collaboration with numerous stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, including but not limited to the following:
- Designers both internal and external
- Architects
- GML estimating department
- Key account leads
- Project commercial teams both in house and client side
- Sub-contractors
- Manufacturers and specialist suppliers
- Client agents
- Commissioning teams
- High-profile customers
The candidate will be a key contributor from conception, through the design stages, managing the delivery and ensuring that each project is successfully handed over and closed out in a professional manner to the highest of standards.

Salary: Dependent on experience
Generally, the above hours will be flexible in line with the needs of the business. We operate a fair working policy but if any extended overtime is worked by agreement of your line manager, then overtime payment will be applicable.
Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and regulations/guidelines
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Timely completion of internal training
- Positive attitude towards work
- Proven ability to manage teams and operatives
- Excellent communication skills
- Maintain a high level of professionalism including punctuality and reliability
- Proficient in Microsoft software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
- A valid black ECS card
- Testing and Inspection 2391 certificate
- 18th Edition certificate
- L3 Electrotechnical qualification
- AM2S certificate
- A valid UK drivers licence
- A project management qualification such as Prince2 (Desirable)
- Mechanical knowledge (Desirable)
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required
