About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide site managing duties on projects within the region. The Site Manager will establish the level and survey control for Projects and set out detailed works as per the contract drawings with the Project Manager, ensuring that checks are made on a regular basis.

- Salary: DOE
Generally, the above hours will be flexible in line with the needs of the business. We operate a fair working policy but if any extended overtime is worked by agreement of your line manager, then overtime payment will be applicable.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation
- Full Driving Licence
- Valid CSCS Card
- SMSTS Qualification
- Two references required
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Electrical Infrastructure.
- Proven experience working within Critical or Occupied environments
Responsibilities:
- Promote Group Metropolitan Rules and establish safe working cultures and practices
- Comply with company procedures and legal obligations
- Promote and comply with environmental compliance
- Deliver the works safely
- Quality Control
- Promote best practice
- Ensure work is delivered defect/snag free
- Endeavour to spot and highlight value engineering opportunities
- Site engineering/the raising of, Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Reviewing of Contractor RAMS, Technical Submittals and Specification compliance, Request For Information, Assisting with QS on Site variations, Drawing register/tracker
- O&M information
- Setting out Commissioning/Sign off documentation and Schedules
- Set out detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring checks are carried out on a regular basis
- Ensure that records are accurate and comply with organisational and legal requirements
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time
- Produce procurement schedules for the Project and liaise with Project Manager/Contracts Manager to ensure the site has adequate resources to complete the tasks
- Produce Daily Task Briefings
- Aiding the Project Manager to compile and issue Project Reports including a 4 week look ahead in conjunction with the current construction issue programme of works
- Produce Labour allocation sheets & planning of works incl. weekend working and who is to carry out these works
- Accurate and timely setting out of the works
- Timely handover of works and Quality records without outstanding defects
