Lotus Cars builds world-class, high-performance and lightweight sports cars that are sold all around the world. Lotus Cars Limited is the manufacturing site of Lotus in the UK. Here we produce all sportscars types such as the Emira and the Evija. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Material Planning Team Supervisor (Pod Lead) in the Material Planning & Inventory Management Department, to join us in our manufacturing plant based in Hethel.
Summary
The role involves ensuring the smooth and efficient supply of raw material commodities to Lotus Manufacturing, to enable a full and cost-effective product build to schedule, as well as providing parts on time and in correct quantities, to support the PTS schedules and build requirements.
What You'll Do
- Support the Material Control Manager with their overall responsibilities.
- Support any supplier issues, such as capacity, scheduling, bottleneck & buyer related, to ensure full material continuity.
- Oversee the creation of supplier material schedules, to optimise and balance the material managed working capital inventories and material availability.
- Manage the material planning team, ensuring supplier adherence to all schedules.
- Attend and represent MP&L with any Supplier concerns and capability meetings.

Additional Information
This role will be working from our Hethel plant, within our flexible working policy. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without VISA sponsorship.
