Lotus Cars builds world-class, high-performance and lightweight sports cars that are sold all around the world. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Head of Go To Market in the Group Marketing Department to join us in our Global Commercial site based in Coventry.
Summary
The Head of Go-to-Market (Europe) is responsible for developing and executing the regional commercial strategy for vehicle programmes and associated mobility ecosystem products across European markets. This role leads the end-to-end Go-to-Market function, ensuring successful product launches, sustainable commercial growth, and strong market penetration through effective product positioning, pricing, channel strategy, and customer engagement. Working at the intersection of Product, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, and Legal functions, the role provides strategic leadership to align regional and global stakeholders, translate market intelligence into actionable business strategies, and optimise commercial performance.
The position is accountable for establishing robust Go-to-Market governance, driving localisation strategies that enhance competitiveness across diverse European markets, and building a high-performing team capable of delivering long-term business objectives. As a key member of the leadership team, the role provides executive-level insights and recommendations to support portfolio decisions, investment priorities, and future business growth, ensuring the organisation remains competitive within the rapidly evolving automotive and new energy vehicle sectors.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Regional Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and drive the overall Go-to-Market strategy for vehicle programs and related ecosystem products across Europe. Define long-term product launch roadmaps and commercialization plans aligned with business objectives, market dynamics, and brand strategy to ensure sustainable growth and successful market penetration.
- Own Commercial Performance and Business Results: Establish performance management mechanisms and drive corrective actions to achieve business targets.
- Build Market Intelligence And Product Strategy Capabilities: Establish a robust market intelligence framework to continuously monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, customer needs, regulatory developments, and emerging opportunities. Translate market insights into actionable product, pricing, and portfolio strategies that enhance competitiveness and customer value.
- Lead Cross-Functional Business Alignment: Serve as the regional GTM leader, aligning headquarters and regional stakeholders across Product, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service, Finance, and Legal & Compliance functions. Ensure effective decision-making, resource allocation, and execution excellence throughout the product lifecycle.
- Establish and Optimize GTM Governance: Design and continuously improve standardized GTM processes, governance frameworks, and operating mechanisms across Europe. Build scalable capabilities covering product planning, launch readiness, market introduction, sales acceleration, and lifecycle management to support multiple vehicle programs.
- Drive Localization and Market Competitiveness: Develop regional strategies covering product positioning, pricing architecture, product configuration, channel development, and customer engagement. Ensure products and commercial approaches are tailored to local market requirements and maximize competitiveness across European markets.
- Build and Lead a High-Performing Team: Establish, lead, and develop the regional GTM organization. Drive talent acquisition, capability development, succession planning, and performance management to build a high-performing and future-ready team.
- Executive Reporting and Strategic Advisory: Provide regular business reviews, market assessments, and strategic recommendations to regional leadership and global executives. Support key decisions on product portfolio, resource allocation, investment priorities, and long-term business development.
What You’ll Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related discipline. MBA or equivalent business qualification is preferred.
- Essential Competencies: Extensive experience within the automotive industry. Previous leadership experience in Go-to-Market, Product Marketing, Product Strategy, Commercial Operations, or related functions within an automotive OEM, preferably in the EV sector. Proven track record of successfully launching multiple vehicle programs and driving commercial growth in European markets. Experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders in a global organization. Strong strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to connect market opportunities to commercial outcomes. Deep understanding of the European automotive and new energy vehicle landscape. Strong analytical skills with experience using data-driven insights to support decision-making. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and organizational influence skills. Proven ability to manage complexity and drive alignment across multiple business functions. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Additional Information: This role will be working from our Coventry office and on-site, full time. Frequent travel might be required to visit different entities.
