About the Team The Events Team is a core part of our Student Success function, delivering high-impact experiences that connect students with top graduate employers across the UK. Each year, we attract many thousands of student applications to our unique events, webinars, awards, and competitions, providing students with meaningful, direct engagement opportunities with employers. Our aim is for these to be the most recognisable and recommended student career events in the UK, offering standout value for both students and employers. Alongside our student-facing activity, the team also plays a key role in supporting the delivery of B2B-focused events through efficient and detail-driven administration. Whether working on logistics, communications, or behind-the-scenes coordination, the Events Team helps ensure a seamless experience for our clients and attendees alike. We’re proud to deliver not just events, but a market-leading support service for students, helping them feel confident, informed, and ready to realise their potential at every stage of their career journey.

About this role As an Events and Programmes Executive at GTI, you will be responsible for managing a variety of student-focused events, webinars, and experiences in collaboration with leading graduate employers. Your role includes planning, marketing, and delivering exceptional events while ensuring high participation rates and satisfaction from both students and employers. You will also oversee event logistics, from the design phase to post-event feedback and reporting. This role offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will play a key part in supporting students' career development and engaging them with employers. You will work closely with the wider student success team to improve processes, contribute to new initiatives, and ensure the successful execution of events that help students discover career opportunities and build valuable skills.

Outcomes Successful project management and delivery of student focused events, webinars and programmes. Deliver an exceptional experience for all stakeholders at all events. Create detailed event plans including pre, during and post event timeline. Design and implement marketing plans that will engage target group students, raise the profile of targetjobs and generate student registrations to attend. Source (through marketing activities and personal contact) the student attendees for the portfolio of careers events and experiences. Conceive experience and event ideas for different groups of students and employers. Experiences will include understanding industries and employers, developing skills, work experience and entering competitions. Experiences will have different formats, content, and speakers. Design the detail of events and experiences including agenda, formats, platform features and venues. Help secure and liaise with presenters and speakers. Deliver tech tests for booked webinars. Attend and facilitate at specified events, both in person and virtually. Complete administrative tasks in relation to event delivery and management including but not limited to processing general enquiries, updating event pages in the CSM, regular reporting and processing student expenses. Review platforms and events in other industries to keep up to date with event formats. Gather attendee feedback to evolve and improve the programme and formats. Customers receive best in class service and provide positive perceptions about our events. Ensure all customers have full information and briefs for running the events and for facilitating all elements. Advise customers on how to maximise their presence and impact pre, during and post event to ensure a return on investment. Ensure we fulfil our promotional obligations to our customers pre, during and post event. Collate collateral to be used in event promotion including company and speaker profiles. Produce and distribute customer event summary reports including event attendance and distribution of their brand pre, during and post event. Produce customer feedback surveys, report on findings, and adapt based on findings. Processes and documentation are centralised, updated and stored correctly, enabling multiple people to work on events, webinars and programmes together. Maintain CRM systems ensuring all conversations are accurate and kept up to date. Support the maintenance of process maps and documentation for the Events department to ensure a consistent high-quality service. Following both your own ideas and direction from others, input and run working process improvements as we strive to deliver optimum team performance. Become an expert on all systems used to deliver events, capture event data and are key to a seamless event user journey. Reports on performance are timely and ideas, tests or solutions are inputted from across the team to solve problems for students, clients or GTI. Support with the mapping of the student journey and experience for new initiatives delivered by the Student Success function. Support the administration and delivery of B2B and Educator focused events as directed by your line manager. Support the delivery of student acquisition, marketing, and communication plans for new student success initiatives within the student success function. Working across the Student Success function, build and maintain a programme of support for highly engaged students and activate them for advocacy and influencer focused activities.

Incredibly organised with the ability of managing upwards of 100 relationships. Observant of patterns and themes within our customers recruitment sector and the behaviour of our student audience. Confident with reporting and analysis both in your own reading of numbers but also to explain and give clarity to the customer. Committed to improving working practices, identifying efficiencies and areas of opportunity.

Work Experience, Knowledge & Skills Knowledge of student and graduate recruitment processes. You will have some experience of running or designing events or e-learning either face-to-face or on digital platforms. A professional manner with excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Confident and comfortable with generating and communicating new ideas across a range of platforms and formats. Ability to read, interpret and explain data reports. Proactive, adaptable and a quick learner. Focused, conscientious, efficient with excellent time management skills. Collaborate with peers and other people inside and outside the business. Willing to travel for events when required.

Other Information Permanent role – 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm. 3-month probationary period. Candidates applying for roles at GTI will be subject to background screening.
