About this role
At the heart of Early Careers attraction, this role shapes how thousands of students experience the employer brand. As Campaign & Branding Lead, you’ll bring ideas to life—leading creative, insight‑driven campaigns that cut through across multiple channels. Working closely with the Marketing and Attraction Manager, Content & Events Lead and the operations team, you’ll balance pace with precision, ensuring campaigns land brilliantly and deliver real impact. You’ll also turn performance data into smarter decisions, helping continuously refine what great attraction looks like. Fast‑moving, collaborative, and influential, this role is ideal for someone excited by combining creativity, strategy, and execution to make a genuine difference.

  • 100% Delivering campaigns on time and within budget
  • 70% of all applications sourced from direct campaign activity

Outcomes

Attraction and marketing campaigns are innovative, engaging, and delivered on time
  • Partner with the Marketing & Attraction Manager to design, launch, and optimise attraction and marketing campaigns across the season.
  • Work closely with Attraction Coordinators and the Content & Events Lead to ensure all campaign activities are executed efficiently and to schedule.
Delivery across multiple campaign streams is successfully owned
  • Take ownership of end‑to‑end delivery across several attraction and marketing activity streams.
  • Build on existing attraction campaign experience while developing omni‑channel planning, coordination, and delivery capability.
Supplier relationships are effectively maintained throughout campaign delivery
  • Maintain and manage relationships with suppliers across the campaign lifecycle.
  • Work with Coordinators to implement campaign updates, changes, and optimisations in line with evolving requirements and timelines.
Engaging, cross‑platform content is consistently supported and delivered
  • Collaborate with the Content & Events Lead and Employer Brand team to create compelling content for student audiences.
  • Advocate and amplify cohort‑generated social media content to support attraction messaging and campaign reach.
Marketing analysis and reporting clearly demonstrate impact and ROI
  • Lead campaign analysis and reporting, including marketing channel performance and return on investment.
  • Share market intelligence and digital marketing best practice, including performance insights from tools such as the Prep Hub.
Agency deliverables are well‑managed and aligned to campaign objectives
  • Manage branded campaign outputs from the client’s branding agency.
  • Provide timely, clear feedback and ensure deadlines are met in line with campaign execution plans.
Wider Early Careers attraction activity is supported as required
  • Contribute across Early Careers Marketing and Attraction beyond core campaigns, including photoshoot support and ad‑hoc team initiatives as needed.

Person Specification

  • Creative, forward‑thinking, and solution‑oriented
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Collaborative approach across teams
  • Willing to travel when required
  • Motivated to build and cement expertise within attraction and marketing
Work Experience, Knowledge & Skills
  • Experience executing multiple attraction and marketing campaigns
  • Experience using content across multiple marketing channels and platforms
  • Experience delivering a brand within attraction and marketing contexts
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and projects across a seasonal cycle
  • Understanding of the UK higher education system and early careers recruitment cycles
  • Experience managing website or digital content pages
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Event management experience
Desirable But Not Essential
  • People management / supervisory / mentorship experience as part of a team

Other Information

  • Permanent role – 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm.
  • 3-month probationary period.
