To build a major new platform for students that helps hundreds of thousands of students develop their employability skills and find opportunities.

You\’ll form part of the Tribe pushing tech boundaries. While the Tribe is working on the latest in dev technologies, our DevOps Tribe is supporting a shift to Kubernetes and AWS, something you could help us shape.
Who this role might suit
We’re looking for a QA Engineer with good experience of full stack web application testing; The right candidate will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of Agile QA best practice, automated testing suites, and working in a collaborative self-organising squad.

- Work within a cross-functional Agile Squad to deliver Product roadmap value
- Support the squad by carrying out collaborative manual exploratory testing
- Support product quality by contributing to acceptance criteria
- Maintain and expand our automated pipeline using best of breed tooling
- Perform peer reviews and maintain documentation needed by internal stakeholders
- Work closely with rest of the development team to ensure high quality solutions
We identify and manage non-functional technical work
- Identify technical debt and propose practical solutions to resolve
- Measure and improve software performance and accessibility
- Understand developer security responsibilities and identify issues
We continually improve our way of working and follow best practice
- Add value to the wider technical team by sharing experience, learnings, and skills
- Identify and share areas for continual improvement
- Stay up to date with the latest tools and frameworks using allocated personal development time

Work Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- A UK BSc in Computer Science or related subject
- Extensive experience with automated testing tools (Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, Postman)
- Experience in using GenAI in test Automation e.g. GitHub Copilot or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer in both manual and automated testing
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Experience in CI/CD tools & automation e.g, Jenkins/GitLab/similar DevOps tooling
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with testing accessibility and performance
- Experience with testing APIs
