Our people are the creators that bring the space to life. We’re a team of motivators, inventors, and coaches; always striving to grow and evolve. It’s not just a job, it’s a lifestyle. We inspire our members to fulfil their lives and they rely on us…and we wouldn’t have it any other way. This is our space.
With the opening of brand new, extraordinary clubs in inspiring locations across London, alongside the development of our digital offering, this is the time to join our world-class Group Exercise team at a fitness business that puts extraordinary group exercise experiences at the heart of everything it does. We’re looking for a Master Trainer to cover maternity leave, who will own our Cycle & Classic concepts, taking a lead on everything from Instructor recruitment and onboarding, training, delivering exceptional classes and product and instructor development and creation.
The role will be 32 hours per week of concept and instructor management, including 4 classes taught across all of our sites. We'll expect you to bring strong personality and showmanship to the position and to the classes you teach. In return, we will support your well-being and professional development. We provide varied learning and training opportunities within a fun and friendly environment. We will expect you to take care to focus on the detail, with careful practice and preparation to deliver the perfect experience for our members every time. We truly believe that we are making a difference to the lives of our members and we place them at the heart of everything we do.
Key responsibilities:
- Management of the Cycle & Classic programmes across the estate, including recruitment, retention, development and audit of instructors.
- Working with the Marketing and PR team to promote the Third Space programme.
- Collaborating with the concept team to develop new and innovative Cycle & Classic concepts in addition to strengthening existing ones.
- Monitoring performance of the programme alongside the Head of Group Exercise.
- Placing the member experience and club NPS score at the heart of every decision.
The successful applicant will be a highly experienced, dedicated and passionate group exercise enthusiast, who has the skills to coach, develop and inspire a large, diverse group of people in the various departments across our entire estate. You’ll be able to talk to us more about how you have built a community of fans who love your teaching style and you’ll also be able to demonstrate how you have coached others to build their own fitness community. You’ll also be as confident delivering training and workshops in a classroom environment as you are in the studio and you’ll be able to tailor your approach to different audiences. You’ll be highly organised and manage your time effectively to audit and provide quality and constructive feedback sessions to our instructor population.
