What you\’ll do day to day
- Control the movement and security of all retail vehicles on site
- Maintain accurate and true records at all times when releasing or receiving vehicles
- Ensure cars are fully prepared to the correct standards and customer requirements for delivery
- Accept delivery of all New and Used Vehicles, carry out necessary checks (damage, paperwork etc.)
- Report any damage or paperwork discrepancies immediately to management
- Conduct accurate and timely appraisals of all retail vehicles taken into stock and the arrangement of required work
- Give direction and prioritise work for Workshop Controller
- Give direction and prioritise workload for Car Valeters
- Carry out regular checks on all used car stock to maintain Approved Used Car standards.
- Maintain all Used Cars on display to required standards, this includes a weekly log to be maintained for tyre pressures
- Maintain the photographic ratio of all cars advertised to be above 90%
- All approved Used cars to be prepared within 5 working days
- Maintain demonstrators to the highest standards
- Maintain all showroom cars to the required standards, including, including maintaining a battery check log
- Make sure all auction cars are available for collection with the required paperwork
