In this role you will be responsible for leading the aftersales strategy and have a substantial influence into shaping the future of Group 1 Automotive through strategic decisions that you make.
Reportingto the Operations Director you will be responsible for leading the strategic aftersales operations including growth and development across all divisions and OEMs at Group 1 Automotive. You will have extensive experience in aftersales and experience working in a multi-site environment with excellent communication and organisational skills with strong leadership skills and evidence of delivering outstanding customer service.

What youll do day to day
- Responsible for the strategy, growth and development of Aftersales for Group 1 Automotive UK.
- Ensure that all Aftersales departments across the group provide the best possible customer experiences and achieve agreed profit and retention levels.
- Implement the Aftersales business, marketing and budget plan in line with OEM expectations and group strategy plans to drive growth, market share, profitability and to achieve agreed financial objectives, including.
- Lead all Aftersales, Service, Parts and Bodyshop Managers to achieve operational best practices and to achieve individual dealership performance objectives.
- Ensure the group meet OEM targets and bonus elements and support individual franchises to meet key performance objectives.
- Lead by example and inspire others, exhibiting exemplary behaviours in line with the company values and performance drivers.
- Work with Franchise Directors, Brand Directors and Divisional Aftersales Teams to ensure dealerships are operationally and culturally focused on achieving high levels of customer experience across OEM scores, Google and online reviews, complaint resolution and customer response upon escalation.
- Support dealership, Franchise Director and Brand Director business partnerships with the OEMs, including ensuring company alignment with OEM aftersales objectives.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the franchise network, ensuring consistency and compliance with OEM standards and legal requirements.

- Multi-site experience within an Automotive retail environment and extensive aftersales experience
