Location: The Vench, Lockleaze Youth & Play Space, Romney Avenue, Lockleaze, BS7 9TD Contract: Zero Hours Salary: NMW£7.55 (FTE £14,722.50) for age 16-17
£10.32 (FTE £20,124) for age 18-20
£12.60 (FTE £24,570) for age 21+
The Café Assistant will help with the day-to-day running of our small community café, The Vench Corner Café, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere for all visitors.
You will:
* Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, cakes, and light meals.
* Deliver friendly, high-quality customer service.
* Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
* Support the Café Manager, Supervisor, volunteers, and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
This role is central to ensuring the café reflects The Vench’s values and meets the needs of the local community.
