We are recruiting for a fundraising assistant within our national fundraising team based in Birmingham. This is an exciting time to join Groundwork UK, as we expand our brand-new fundraising team and continue to develop support for federation-wide projects across the country.

About the Role

The Fundraising Assistant will play a key role in supporting Groundwork UK’s fundraising efforts and helping us achieve income goals. They will assist the fundraising team in developing relationships with corporate supporters and individual donors and help secure unrestricted voluntary income. Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Processing and thanking donations
  • Maintaining relationships with donors and fundraisers
  • Leading on digital communications for fundraising
  • Assisting with corporate partnership fundraising
  • Other administrative tasks

Working closely with the rest of the fundraising team, the ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and a passion for developing relationships with supporters. You will ideally have experience within the fundraising sector, or administrative/customer service experience elsewhere. As a growing team with varying responsibilities, focus and targets will change from time to time, so a flexible working attitude is required. There will be scope and opportunity to expand and develop the team as we continue to grow the fundraising function.
