About the role

As a Maintenance Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, playing a key role in maintaining the buildings and sites across the North East and Cumbria. You’ll be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, conducting repairs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Job Purpose

Are you a practical, hands‑on professional who takes pride in keeping buildings safe, compliant and well maintained? We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Maintenance Officer to help ensure our sites remain welcoming, functional and safe for everyone who uses them. This varied role combines day‑to‑day reactive repairs with planned maintenance, safety checks and contractor coordination, offering the opportunity to make a visible, positive impact through your skills every single day.
