The Role
Design, develop, and implement complex software solutions, leveraging expertise and experience in programming languages, architecture, and best practices. Not only producing high-quality code but also playing a role in guiding junior developers, participating in architectural discussions, and making decisions to ensure the delivery of scalable, maintainable, and efficient software applications.

- Produce well written code conforming to our standards
- Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Manage project resources and technical aspects to meet deadlines and project goals
- Participate in architectural discussions, contribute to the design process, and ensure the implementation of scalable, robust, and maintainable software solutions
- Actively participate in coding, debugging, and troubleshooting complex software issues.
- Set coding standards and ensure the team produces clean, efficient, and well‑documented code
- Implement and enforce best practice, including testing strategies, continuous deployment, and the general delivery of high‑quality software products
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in technology. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools that enhance the development process and improve product quality
- Foster effective communication within the development team and collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders
- Supporting our policies in the interests of good governance and our commitment to B Corp certification

- Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and experience managing projects, defining project scopes, and ensuring timely deliveries
- Experience in designing scalable, maintainable, and secure software architectures
- Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, and best practices in software development.
- Experience gained working on large scale software projects and broad architectures
