The role

We are looking for a motivated and people-focused People Development Lead to join our HR team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about learning, development and employee engagement, and is looking to build their career as a people specialist. In this developmental specialist role, you will help shape and deliver practical people development initiatives that build capability across the organisation. You’ll work closely with employees and managers to support career growth, enhance the employee experience and provide valuable people insights that help inform business decisions.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing and delivering learning and development initiatives for employees and managers.
  • Supporting career development and helping individuals grow within the organisation.
  • Coordinating talent development and succession planning activities.
  • Leading employee engagement initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Gathering and analysing people data and insights to support informed decision-making.
  • Working collaboratively with the Head of HR and HR Manager to align people initiatives with business priorities.
  • Taking increasing ownership of projects and specialist activities as the organisation continues to grow.

What we're looking for

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic about people development and eager to develop their expertise in this area. You may already have experience in HR, learning and development, talent management or employee engagement, and be ready to take the next step in your career.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • A passion for learning, development and helping others succeed.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to coordinate and deliver people initiatives effectively.
  • A proactive and organised approach to managing projects and priorities.
  • An interest in using people insight and data to support decision-making.
  • A collaborative mindset and the confidence to work with managers at all levels.
