Groundshore is currently looking to hire an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at our Sandbach depot. We offer competitive pay rates for candidates who demonstrate the necessary skills and professionalism. At Groundshore, every team member plays a vital role. Our drivers are crucial in delivering and collecting our equipment from both customer sites and our depots. You will regularly interact with customers, and we expect you to maintain a professional appearance and a positive attitude at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and adhere to daily safety checks.
  • Assist with loading and unloading company vehicles.
  • Deliver and collect hire equipment on time, safely, and efficiently.
  • Address customer requirements at the point of delivery or collection.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience delivering and collecting heavy goods on construction sites.
  • Possession of a CSCS Card.
Core Requirements:
  • Valid HGV Class 1 Licence.
  • At least 1 year of recent HGV driving experience.
  • Driver CPC certification.
Additional Information:
  • Full-time, permanent position with an immediate start.
  • Typical working hours: Monday to Friday (day shifts).
  • Guaranteed 45 hours per week.
  • Weekly pay.
