Essential Qualifications, Experiences and Skills
- A relevant bachelor\'s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related discipline and/or substantial, recent, and relevant HSEQ experience
- NEBOSH (National General Certificate) qualified or equivalent accreditation (desirable)
- Train the Trainer qualification or similar (desirable)
- Minimum of 3 years\' recent experience in a Health, Safety, and Environmental role, ideally within a manufacturing, engineering, product, or industrial environment
- Sound working knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, and and UK SHEQ legislation
- Demonstrated experience in conducting and monitoring risk assessments and audits.
- Proven ability to advise managers and supervisors, conduct H&S investigations, and deliver effective training
- Strong capability in developing, implementing, and reviewing Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE reporting systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
