We’re looking for an experienced plant mechanic to join our business as a Field Service Engineer. In this varied role you’ll work alongside our existing engineers to service, repair, modify, deliver, install and collect Piling equipment on and off-site. Working Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm with occasional overtime, this is an excellent opportunity to become part of our busy team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend customer sites for repairs and maintenance if breakdowns occur
  • Diagnose faults accurately and identify solutions
  • Complete service reports and administration using any Tablets, Apps and Service Logs as required
  • Provide technical support to the service engineers
  • Carry out all tasks professionally and safely, with deliveries and collections made on time.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety standards and legislation

What We’re Looking For

  • Experienced plant mechanic
  • Experience with Excavators and Piling equipment would be a big advantage
  • Full driving licence required (Category B)
  • No qualifications are needed, but any plant mechanic or engineer NVQs would be beneficial - experience is key
  • Willing to travel and work overtime if required
