We’re hiring: European Payroll & Timekeeping Consultant (Manufacturing Focus)

Europe-based (flexible location) | Long-term Engagement | Travel Required

Grounded HR Consulting is looking for a European Payroll & Timekeeping Consultant to support a long-term client engagement across multiple European countries. This role is well-suited for an experienced professional who brings operational depth and thrives in complex environments—including markets such as Sweden, France, and Germany . There is potential for continued work on additional client projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead reviews and improvements of payroll and timekeeping processes across European sites
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws , collective agreements , and SOX requirements
  • Support system transitions and upgrades (UKG, Kronos, TMF preferred)
  • Operate effectively within manufacturing settings involving hourly and shift-based workers
  • Collaborate across HR, Finance, and IT teams to deliver practical solutions
  • Travel within Europe as required to support project delivery

Your Profile:

  • Demonstrated experience managing payroll operations in Europe, including complex markets
  • Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and internal payroll controls
  • Familiarity with key payroll/timekeeping platforms (UKG, Kronos, TMF)
  • Prior exposure to manufacturing or operationally intensive environments
  • Effective communicator with a solution-oriented mindset and stakeholder management skills
