As part of our continued growth, Ground Developments is seeking an experienced Earthworks Foreman/Supervisor to support the planning and delivery of large-scale earthworks projects. Working closely with the Site Manager you will assist with management, coordination, and delivery of earthworks operations, from pre-construction planning through to completion. You will help ensure programmes, budgets, quality, and safety targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision of earthworks gangs and plant operators.
- Ensuring daily work activities follow the earthworks methodology and programme.
- Managing haul routes, stockpiles, and safe movement of plant.
- Monitoring production rates and reporting progress to site management.
- Ensuring levels and formation are achieved as set out by engineers.
- Implementing method statements, permits, and safety controls.
- Coordinating plant operations, loading areas, and excavation zones.
- Supporting engineers with site inspections and testing activities.
