What future Site Manager roles might involve:
As a Site Manager in our Rail division, you’ll work closely with Contracts Managers to coordinate and deliver vegetation management and structural clearance works. You’ll play a vital role in safety, compliance, and the successful delivery of rail infrastructure projects.
Typical responsibilities may include:
- Coordinating multiple sites and supporting field teams with on-site and admin tasks
- Using Word and Excel to produce documentation (task briefs, trackers, audit logs)
- Planning access schedules and resourcing for planned works
- Conducting site audits, inspections, and maintaining safety compliance
- Supporting accurate scoping, pricing, and reporting for works
- Liaising with clients and internal teams to keep projects moving
What we’ll be looking for:
- Proven experience in Rail, with valid PTS and COSS certifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A confident self-starter with a focus on safety and compliance
- Ability to work collaboratively across site and office teams
Bonus points if you have:
- SMSTS / IOSH / NEBOSH
- First Aid at Work
- FWC certification
- Knowledge of arboriculture or vegetation management (or interest in learning!)
