Join us, we’re an Investors in People Silver Standard Company The Role To support the field engineer and tree cutting power line outage programme by providing customer power supply confirmation assessment and feeding this information back into the programme within a distribution area(s). Take responsibility for driving the delivery of your own allocated works. Ensure work is completed to the highest possible standards in terms of safety, environment, quality, and customer service. Role Responsibilities: Patrol overhead power lines to confirm customers going off power supply within a given power outage area identified by the field engineer. Confirm accuracy of customer carding lists and ensure any updating is carried out as per procedure. Patrol outage areas to check switching points for efficient isolation on outages. Visit generator sighting points to arrange access for effective generator mobilisation. Drive a productive approach to ensure maximum delivery across all role outputs. Liaise with customers as appropriate regarding any planned power line outages and ensure a polite and helpful approach. Report any HSQE events or power line defects whilst patrolling.
