RRV Operator
Location: Stirling
Salary: Competitive
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Responsibilities
- Directly manage OTP and Trackside Plant operations on Rail Projects under the management of the company POS Rep.
- Discharge the duties of direct control on site of the designated item of OTP.
- Undertake operations of the OTP you are in control of on site in a safe manner.
- Hold a company Authority to work Card for the specific machine type, make and model you are operating.
- Liaise with Machine Controller & Crane Controller, POS Rep, other plant operators and others on site affected by the operations and movement of machines and equipment.
- Receive and comply with instructions from the controlling Machine/Crane Controller.
- Receive and comply with instructions from the company POS Representative.
- Understand the limitations of machine operations and movement with regard to lifting operations where Adjacent Line Open (ALO) is in operation.
What we’re looking for
- Hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
- Operate OTPs only for which you hold the relevant competence.
- Have at least 2 years of relevant experience operating OTP machines.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Well organised and structured approach to work.
