RRV Operator

Location: Stirling

Salary: Competitive

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage OTP and Trackside Plant operations on Rail Projects under the management of the company POS Rep.
  • Discharge the duties of direct control on site of the designated item of OTP.
  • Undertake operations of the OTP you are in control of on site in a safe manner.
  • Hold a company Authority to work Card for the specific machine type, make and model you are operating.
  • Liaise with Machine Controller & Crane Controller, POS Rep, other plant operators and others on site affected by the operations and movement of machines and equipment.
  • Receive and comply with instructions from the controlling Machine/Crane Controller.
  • Receive and comply with instructions from the company POS Representative.
  • Understand the limitations of machine operations and movement with regard to lifting operations where Adjacent Line Open (ALO) is in operation.

What we’re looking for

  • Hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Operate OTPs only for which you hold the relevant competence.
  • Have at least 2 years of relevant experience operating OTP machines.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Well organised and structured approach to work.
