The Building Safety Manager is a key role within Grosvenor Property UK, responsible for leading the effective oversight and delivery of fire and structural safety across the London Estate.
Covering approximately 170 multi-occupied residential buildings and 14 Higher-Risk Buildings (HRBs), you will help ensure residents can live safely and confidently in their homes while supporting GPUK in meeting its statutory obligations under the Building Safety Act and associated regulations.
Working collaboratively with internal teams, managing agents, contractors, consultants, leaseholders and regulators, you will drive continuous improvement in building safety standards while supporting the delivery of a robust, transparent and auditable Building Safety Management System across the estate.
Key Responsibilities 1.
Support GPUK in discharging Accountable Person duties under the Building Safety Act and Fire Safety Order Lead the development, maintenance, and periodic review of Building Safety Case Reports for HRBs, ensuring they remain compliant and reflect current building risk profiles.
Commission and manage the preparation of new Safety Cases where additional properties are brought into scope.
Coordinate responses to regulatory information requests and support Building Assessment Certificate applications.
