The Role:
As Operational Finance Manager, you'll be a hands-on member of the onsite management team, working closely with operations and leadership in a collaborative, fast-paced manufacturing / processing environment. You'll have end-to-end responsibility for the financial operations of the business, including:
- Forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Cost control, inventory management, and cash flow oversight
- Accounting, invoicing, and core accounting
- Supporting operational decision-making
- Building and leading the finance team as the business grows
What we're looking for:
- Someone ambitious, adaptable and excited to grow alongside the company.
- 35 years experience in operational finance (food/meat manufacturing/processing experience is required).
- ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified AAT
- Strong Excel skills and experience with systems such as Xero, Sage, Netsuite, or similar ERP platforms
- Confident communicator who can translate numbers into actions
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling priorities in a growing business

Working Location:
Initially, this will be an onsite role (Monday to Friday) and you must live within commuting distance of Peterborough and/or the surrounding area. This is an excellent chance to get in early and grow your role, influence the business and to build the Finance team as the business scales.
