Overview
Our client is a leading provider of scaffolding solutions across construction temporary works, providing expertise for civil infrastructure, building, rail, power and utility projects across the UK and Europe. We’re looking for experienced Formwork Designers to join their Technical Team. Working closely with Sales Managers and Sales Engineers on a variety of engineering and construction projects, you will be responsible for ensuring that design solutions accurately meet client requirements. Very well known and respected throughout the industry, our client guarantees extensive support, training and career development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of our client’s products and its technical design strategy
- Produce accurate drawings, schedules and quotations
- Provide technical advice on all client products to customers and the Sales Engineers
Qualifications
- A HNC minimum in a construction related subject e.g. Civil Engineering
- Previous experience working as a formwork designer - minimum 12 months
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Design Analysis Programs
