Required as soon as possible

In the first instance, this is a 1-year fixed term post to support an individual child in Reception, with special educational needs.

Subject to funding, the post of TA2 may continue beyond the fixed term.

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to support children’s learning, working under the direction of the class teacher and SENDCo.

Experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs will be an advantage.

The person appointed will have high standards and expectations in all areas of school life and will be committed to a flexible team work approach.

Good Literacy and Numeracy skills, experience, flexibility, and a willingness to undertake training is essential; an NVQ or similar qualification is desirable.
