The Grosvenor Hotel is looking for a reliable and experienced individual to live on site and support the hotel with basic maintenance tasks, guest support, and overnight on-call presence. This role requires the successful candidate to live in the provided accommodation.
Duties
- Overnight Presence
- Being resident on site overnight (5 nights per week)
- Responding to urgent issues if required
- Supporting late guest check-ins where required
- Assisting guests with issues during the night
- Monitoring general building safety and security awareness
- Escalating emergencies to management or emergency services
- Maintenance / Handyman Tasks (0-Hour Daytime Support)
- Carrying out basic repairs
- Supporting with room checks and minor maintenance
- Assisting with general building upkeep
- Reporting larger maintenance issues to management
- Guest & Safety Support
- Dealing professionally with guest queries and issues
- Supporting with late arrivals and check-ins when required
- Responding appropriately to potential security or safety concerns
- Following hotel procedures for incident reporting
