About The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. Working closely with colleagues in the catering department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the preparation, service, and delivery of food meet the highest hygiene and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with food preparation, following company recipes and storage guidelines
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness, ensuring both general areas and equipment are cleaned as per schedules
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience
  • Ensure external access areas always remain clean and tidy
  • Follow all food hygiene and safety standards in line with regulations
  • Participate in stock-taking and maintain accurate records as required
  • Adhere to a 15-minute handover process to ensure smooth operational transitions
  • Undertake relevant training to enhance skills and performance
  • Consistently uphold company values and professional appearance, including uniform standards

About You:

  • Prior experience in a similar role, ideally within a commercial kitchen would be an advantage
  • Understanding of kitchen processes and food preparation
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive and adaptable approach
