Senior Finance Business Partner (FTC, 15 months)

The Finance Centre leads on financial reporting and operations across the Grosvenor Property Group. Within this framework, the Senior Finance Business Partner is responsible for the preparation of high-quality insight to support the Group\’s objective of functioning in a financially efficient and sustainable manner. The role will be primarily focused on three areas:

  • Providing exceptional finance support and business partnering the corporate enabling teams within the Group Team. These include Sustainability, HR, IT, Finance, Treasury and Tax.
  • Providing an effective FP&A function for overheads across the Group Team, UK Urban Property and Diversified Property Investments businesses.
  • Preparation of insightful and timely actual and forecast cashflow reporting to support the effective management of our liquidity and financing, for both the Group and UK Urban Property business.

The Overhead costs are managed in a decentralised manner by 31 cost centre budget holders, typically senior individuals including Executive and Functional Directors. This role will work closely with these individuals to aid their understanding of their cost base and support them by providing accurate quarterly forecast and annual budget information as part of our financial reporting process.

The role holder will be required to work closely with senior leadership across the business, including providing clarity and insight on our overheads spend to the Group and UK Executive Committees.

Working closely with members of the Group Treasury, Group Finance and UK Finance teams, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely base and stressed cashflow monitoring and forecasting. This will involve reporting directly on matters of liquidity and cash management to the UK and Group CFO\’s. To be successful in this role you will need to obtain a broad understanding of the entire Urban Property business and use this knowledge to provide insight to senior stakeholders.

This role therefore provides exceptional access to some of the most senior individuals across Grosvenor and accordingly the successful candidate will need to be a strong and confident communicator, capable of building trust through their professionalism and credibility. Output will need to be accurate and effectively presented so that it is capable of being easily interpreted and relied upon for decision making.

The role includes having access to highly sensitive and confidential information and therefore the Senior Finance Business Partner must have the highest levels of discretion, treating the data with the care and discretion it requires.
