The Management Surveyor - Residential has the overall responsibility for the service delivery to our residential managed buildings and private realm (50 Mews, 5 private gardens). Leading and supporting a team of property managers and facilities managers, ensuring high customer service standards are set and delivered on the Estate. An innovative property management specialist who can help us deliver exceptional service and improve our revenue and amenities in the private realm.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of the expense budgeting, recovery and reconciliation process.
- Proactively working with our partners to issue timely and accurate information to our residents.
- Budget, monitor and approve the non-recoverable expenditure to support our financial sustainability goal.
- Proactively manage the team ensuring consistency is delivered (i.e. holds regular residents meetings, record insights, monitor response time, etc.).
- Support the property managers and develop new ways of working, embracing technology to improve the user experience and increase cost recovery.
- Main point of contact for appointed agents (outsourced management) monitoring performance under the contracts KPI’s.
- Day to day lead of the property managers and facilities managers (working alongside our service partners) creating a strong team focused on serving the customers.
- Portfolio performance monitoring and reporting in line with business requirements.
Key Requirements
- MRICS, AssocRICS or MTPI qualified.
- Residential Property Management experience, able to demonstrate basic technical building knowledge, in depth understanding of the Residential Service Charge code.
- Demonstrable Customer Service Experience, a good communicator who can adapt to different stakeholders.
- Commercially astute, innovator, always looking at making improvements for us and our customers.
