The Sustainability Analyst is a key role within the Group Sustainability team, reporting into the Head of Sustainability Reporting & Impact. The role has a Group-wide remit, supporting both Group-level sustainability reporting and the reporting activities of teams within Grosvenor’s operational and investment companies (Business Units). Sustainability is fundamental to Grosvenor’s purpose – it shapes how we create long‐term value, drives innovation to strengthen communities and protect the environment, and empowers our people to lead meaningful change – making Grosvenor an exciting place to work.

The purpose of the role is to coordinate and support on sustainability reporting, and lead on ensuring consistency, robustness, insight and analytics across the Group. This includes helping Business Units to collate and produce high-quality sustainability data and disclosures, while also contributing directly to Group-level sustainability reporting, performance analysis and external disclosures. This includes reporting on Grosvenor’s Group level carbon commitment and any further metrics across our Climate, Nature, People reporting framework.

A key component of this role will be to support Grosvenor Property UK (GPUK). GPUK is getting more sophisticated in how it uses sustainability data, and there is need for additional support in the team to create insight to inform project strategy and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development, coordination and delivery of sustainability reporting across the Group.
  • Work with sustainability and functional leads in Business Units to collate, review and improve sustainability data, particularly across our Property Companies.
  • Take ownership of specific sections or themes within sustainability reports.
Data integrity, analysis and insight
  • Lead, maintain and develop sustainability datasets.
  • Analyse sustainability performance across sustainability.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear insights for senior stakeholders.
External reporting and frameworks
  • Support alignment with reporting frameworks such as ISSB, TCFD/TNFD, SECR and SBTi.
  • Contribute to regulatory and voluntary disclosures.
  • Support assurance and verification processes.
Continuous improvement and capability building
  • Improve sustainability reporting processes and methodologies.
  • Provide guidance to Operational Companies.
  • Contribute to the evolution of sustainability reporting.
Key Requirements
  • 2+ years' relevant experience in sustainability reporting, ESG data analysis, or management consultancy with a strong data focus.
  • Direct experience contributing to sustainability reporting outputs (e.g. annual ESG reports).
  • Direct experience with sustainability frameworks such as ISSB, TCFD, TNFD, SECR and SBTi.
  • Preferred reporting experience with work on FLAG and Building carbon disclosures.
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting framework requirements and translating them into reporting processes.
  • Advanced analytical, visualisation and data management skills, particularly across the Microsoft suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI).
  • Proven ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Degree in a relevant field desired but not essential.
