The Finance Centre is Grosvenor’s centre of excellence for financial reporting and control. Within this framework, the Finance Performance and Improvement Analyst is a revised role responsible for the improvement of financial processes; the maintenance of accurate and insightful reporting on our core financial operations such as payments to suppliers, billing and financial performance, and supporting our internal audit programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a project lead and manage process improvement initiatives to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance overall financial performance.
- Design and implement new reporting processes across the finance function focusing on accurate reporting and impact on operational efficiency.
- Design new reports using large datasets and providing analysis on output for key operational finance processes including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems, and lead on automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy for the operational finance team and wider Finance Centre.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gain buy-in for process changes and drive continuous improvement whilst ensuring business needs are met.
- Ad hoc analysis of data to provide practical insight to inform decision making and drive the commercial performance of the business.
- Assist with the delivery of the internal audit programme for UK and wider Group.
Key Requirements
- Strong Excel and PowerBI skills/or other Business Information software reporting experience.
- Experience in implementing a new ERP.
- A change management and growth mindset.
- Analytical mindset, capable of seeing past the raw data to understand key trends.
- Clear presentation skills, providing clear insight to those requesting the analysis.
- Able to demonstrate examples of innovative thinking and a strong track record of having delivered process improvements.
- Excellent communicator, capable of understanding complex demands from senior stakeholders.
- Operates with an open mind, working with a diverse team and stakeholders in a manner which is inclusive.
- Experience of operational finance desirable but not essential.
- Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and OneStream helpful.
