Grosvenor Gardens Healthcare in London Victoria and West Dulwich provides private gynaecology and obstetrics, paediatrics and GP services. We provide comprehensive support and reassurance in pregnancy and general gynaecology care with compassion and sensitivity.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our team. We require the candidate to have phlebotomy experience. You will provide the highest standards and safe practices of care and service to clients attending our clinics. You will also be assisting our consultants during examinations and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities- To provide the highest standards and safe practices of care to our patients and assist clinicians with examinations and procedures.
- To provide a prompt, efficient, professional service and work closely with the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best end-to-end patient experience.
- To ensure that all your contact with patients, clients, staff and visitors is courteous and professional, and that the service delivered meets the agreed specified protocol and turnaround time of results and/or reports to consultant clients.
- To take responsibility for individualised patient care and communicate any difficulties relating to his/her care as appropriate to the Manager.
- Recent experience in adult phlebotomy is essential; paediatric phlebotomy skills are preferable.
- Experience working in a UK healthcare environment and demonstrating care provision to patients.
- Understanding of health and safety, infection control prevention in the work environment.
- Understanding of the importance of patients' confidentiality.
- Good English speaking and writing skills are necessary for this post.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: £29,000 per year. Part-time and full-time positions available.
