The R&D Process Engineer plays a key role in leading research and development activities for vacuum coating within the product line. This position focuses on driving innovation, enhancing machine performance, and collaborating with partners to develop cutting-edge process technologies and packaging solutions.
What You\'ll Do
- Lead key development projects for new proprietary process solutions.
- Test operation and optimisation of R&D process test rig, including trial planning together with R&D Director Barrier solutions and Head of R&D.
- Drive new process innovations and packaging applications in partnership with brand owners and converters.
- Evaluate and optimise the performance of vacuum machine portfolios, with a strong focus on process parameters.
- Manage relationships with partners and suppliers to foster innovation.
- Lead trials at the competence centre in collaboration with customers, brand owners, and internal R&D teams.
What We\'re Looking For
- Electrical knowledge and expertise in machine electrical commissioning.
- Expertise in substrates and vacuum coating processes.
