Groove Pillows is dedicated to helping individuals achieve better sleep and wake up feeling refreshed. With a strong belief that quality sleep leads to better days, we aim to enhance our customers’ overall well-being. As the UK’s most reviewed ergonomic pillow brand, we are looking for a Paid Acquisition Manager to lead the planning, strategy and execution of our paid media channels - Meta, Google, and TikTok - across UK and US markets.
This Paid Media role is a mix of both strategy and execution in a small, agile digital team. Your time will be spread across performance analysis, creative strategy, tools, process and channel optimisation, while also managing campaigns alongside external partners.
We’re exclusively looking for an experienced and communicative strategist, with D2C client side and analytical experience, willing to fully absorb our brand and audience nuances and also happy maintaining and executing ongoing quality once channels are scaled and stable.
Groove Pillows is a true scale-up, growing rapidly and has scaling projects in every area of the business; yet a meticulous and well planned approach is the secret to our success and the senior team we’re building is instinctively aligned with these values.
The paid channels are currently led by our MD and the onboarding and ongoing strategy will be in collaboration with her, including a handover of the current paid landscape and insights into the commercial priorities of the business. In light of this, there is real potential for a senior, longer term role beyond the initial contract.
Responsibilities include:
- Join and eventually lead existing external performance marketing meetings, contributing to strategy discussions and owning the data and reporting actions.
- Past performance analysis project - collating ideas for creative refreshes, copy upgrades and spend recommendations.
- Build out systematic, longer-term creative strategy in line with brand and audience goals.
- Build a marketing mix model for forecasting and analysing channel performance and efficiency.
- D2C experience scaling paid acquisition for UK e-commerce retail brand.
- Truly analytical, with mathematical reasoning and data presentation skills.
- Experience translating commercial goals into winning creative briefs.
You would consider a long-term commitment if the initial contract goes well. You’re ready to embrace and champion the Groove brand and customer in your work.
Please only apply if you can meet this criteria - we aren’t considering CVs without UK retail ecommerce, clear evidence of both analytical and creative skills or those juggling an existing long client list.
Groove is fully remote, offering flexibility outside the 9-5 and a true work life balance for freelancers, contractors and colleagues who contribute to our brand values and culture.
Hours: 50hrs per month, flexible
Contract: 16 weeks, with intention to extend
Reports to: Managing Director
Rate: Dependent on experience plus discretionary performance bonus
Availability for the weekly hours and length of the contract ~ Hourly / daily rate for mid-term bookings (Strictly no agencies!)
