The Role

As a Senior HR Advisor, you will be the go‑to people expert for both our leadership team and staff. This isn’t just an administrative role – you will actively protect, build, and scale our workplace culture while ensuring our operations remain 100% legally compliant.

What You Will Do Day‑to‑Day

  • ER Case Management: Independently manage end‑to‑end Employee Relations (ER) cases, including complex grievances, disciplinaries, absence management, and investigations.
  • Policy & Compliance: Draft, review, and roll out modern HR policies that protect the business and align perfectly with current UK employment law and GDPR standards.
  • Manager Coaching: Partner closely with tech leads and department heads, coaching them on performance management, conflict resolution, and leadership best practices.
  • Talent & Onboarding: Support our recruitment efforts and redesign our onboarding experiences to ensure a fantastic journey for every new starter.
  • Culture & Organization: Help design an inclusive, high‑performing environment that keeps motivation and retention high across our cross‑functional teams.

What We Are Looking For

  • The Experience: Proven background in a Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role, ideally within a fast‑paced, scaling tech, product, or startup environment.
  • The Knowledge: A rock‑solid understanding of UK labour laws and ACAS guidelines. You know how to balance legal safety with the commercial needs of a fast‑moving business.
  • The Credentials: CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above preferred) or equivalent professional HR experience.
  • The Skills: Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills. You can handle sensitive situations with absolute confidentiality and calm authority.
  • The Setup: Ready and excited to work full‑time on‑site at our Milton Keynes office.
