We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for delivering accurate financial information, insightful analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making. You will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and performance evaluation, helping to drive financial efficiency and profitability across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in line with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts and assist with internal and external audits.
- Maintain robust documentation and audit trails for financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and governance standards.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Develop financial models to support planning and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and conduct variance analysis.
- Provide scenario analysis to support business planning.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify efficiency opportunities.
- Analyse profitability across products, services, and departments.
- Support pricing strategies and margin improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate the financial impact of operational changes.
- Maintain and strengthen internal control processes.
- Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to financial procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Uphold professional and ethical standards in line with recognised accounting bodies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) and/or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in a similar Management Accountant or finance role (preferred).
