Factory Operative in Walsall

Groomfield Recruitment are looking for 10 Factory Operatives for their client based in Aldridge, Walsall, WS9.

Hours of Work: Monday To Friday
Overtime available when needed
Rate of Pay: £12.71 Per Hour

Duties:
Safely load and unload materials using appropriate equipment and manual handling techniques
Heavy manual handling of stock on a regular basis
Clean down of stock
Assembly work
Spraying of products
Stock checking
Goods-in and out
Maintain accurate records of inventory movements
Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods
Conduct routine inspections of yard equipment,to ensure safety and proper functioning
Working inside and also outside when needed
Support materials handling tasks such as stacking, organizing, and preparing items for transport or storage
Follow health and safety protocols at all times, including heavy lifting procedures and mechanical safety measures
Collaborate with team members to ensure the yard remains tidy, organized, and compliant with operational standards
Skills
Proven experience in a yard is ideal but not essental.
Understanding and ability of manual handling of heavy duty equipment
Familiarity with inventory systems for tracking inventory movements
Happy to work outside in varied conditions
Ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently during daily tasks
Experience in shipping & receiving processes, including documentation accuracy
Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment and follow instructions accurately
