We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our team. This is a full-time role offering a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, with opportunities for overtime.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00. Overtime may be available until 18:00 when required.
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour.
Requirements:
- Applicants must be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes.
- Hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
- Previous van driving experience is essential.
- Assembly experience is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out van driving duties for the majority of the role, completing scheduled delivery routes efficiently and safely.
- Follow pre-planned routes designed to ensure return to site by the designated finish time, with occasional flexibility required.
- Assist within the warehouse during quieter periods, supporting the assembly team as needed.
- Cut aluminium materials to required specifications using a chop saw (circular saw), following all health and safety procedures.
- Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate production and assembly.
