Groomfield Recruitment are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative / Reach Truck Driver to join a well-established and reputable client based in Tamworth (B78). This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy, fast-paced warehouse environment, offering long-term prospects for the right candidate. The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting daily operations, ensuring goods are handled efficiently, safely, and accurately.
Pay: £13.42
Working Hours: 07:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday
Duties Include:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to transport goods within the warehouse
- Load and unload pallets from racking systems at various heights
- Accurately pick and put away stock according to company procedures
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance issues
- Maintain a clean and organized working area
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies
- Assist with general warehouse duties when required
The Candidate:
- Valid Reach Truck licence/certification (RTITB or equivalent)
- Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and stock control
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good level of physical fitness
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends if required
