Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver in Stoke-on-Trent

Groomfield Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join one of our well established clients based in T amworth B79. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with valid forklift licences who is looking for stable, long-term employment within a supportive and professional working environment. The successful candidate will be confident operating a Counterbalance truck, assisting with warehouse operations, and maintaining high standards of health and safety. Location: Tamworth B79 Pay Rate: £13.00 to £14.50 per hour (depending on experience) Contract: 12-week temporary contract with the opportunity to secure a permanent position Working Hours Monday to Thursday: 8:30am to 5:00pm Friday: 7:30am to 4:00pm No weekend work Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Counterbalance Load and unload vehicles efficiently Move, store, and organise stock within the warehouse Carry out stock handling and inventory-related tasks Assist with general warehouse duties as required Conduct occasional van driving duties Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies Candidate Requirements Valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential) Full UK Driving Licence Previous experience within a warehouse or logistics environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organisational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Day shifts only with structured working hours Friendly and supportive team environment Opportunity to secure a permanent role after the temporary period Long-term career prospects within a growing business If you are an experienced Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Driver looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
