Finance Administrator Location: Alrewas Salary: Β£13.50 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time Contract: Temporary initially, with the potential to become permanent Start Date: Immediate Role Overview Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Finance Administrator to join their finance team in Alrewas on a temporary basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent. This is a varied, hands-on position supporting the smooth running of the finance function. The successful candidate will have previous experience within finance administration, purchase ledger, accounts administration or a similar role, with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach. You will be responsible for a range of duties including invoicing, purchase ledger, credit control, payments, reconciliations and general finance administration. Key Responsibilities Raise and process sales invoices, ensuring all supporting documentation is accurate and complete. Process supplier invoices and maintain accurate purchase ledger records. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice queries promptly. Ensure invoices are correctly coded, authorised and processed in line with company procedures. Support credit control activities and chase outstanding customer payments. Maintain accurate records of outstanding debts and customer communications. Process Direct Debits and BACS payment runs accurately. Carry out regular bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies. Support month-end processes, including accruals and financial summaries. Maintain accurate and organised digital financial records. Assist with financial reporting and management information. Respond to finance-related queries from suppliers, customers and internal teams. Provide general finance administration support and assist with ad hoc projects.
